If you think plastic surgery is just for female actresses and glamorous pop princesses – think again! Cosmetic procedures are available for both men and women – but who has had what done? Let’s find out.
Here are four male celebs that have gone under the knife:
Craig Revel Horwood
Believe it or not, Craig Revel Horwood had his man boobs removed back in 2011. That’s right; the Strictly Come Dancing star endured gynaecomastia surgery to reduce the size of his chest telling The Mirror: “I couldn’t cha-cha-cha without them jigging in my face.” While it’s hard to see his torso under the dashing suit he wears most Saturday and Sunday nights, the operation appears to have been a success.
Kenny Rogers
Known for his silver locks and deep voice, Kenny Rogers is one of the best country crooners around – but he too has dabbled in plastic surgery. In an interview with People back in 2006 he said: “Last year I had so many lines coming in at the side of my eyes up here. So I went in and got my eyes done, and I’m not happy about it. [The surgeon] is going to go in and fix that for me.”
Gordon Ramsay
If you’ve seen Gordon Ramsay on TV, you’ll know he’s a rather straight-talking guy – so it’s no wonder he has opened up about his surgery. The foul-mouth chef has admitted to having the deep lines in his chin filled in telling the Radio Times: “Simon Cowell suggested that now I’m a success in America, I should do something, so I had a filler put under the deep crevices. It hurt. The F Word star is also rumoured to have had a facelift and a hair transplant.
Gene Simmons
According to reports, Kiss musician Gene Simmons got a facelift back in 2007 – at the same time as his longtime love, Shannon Tweed. It’s believed Simmons and Tweed went under the knife for their cable reality show Gene Simmons: Family Jewels and had the whole thing filmed on camera – now that’s pretty rock and roll. Who would have thought that his and hers facelifts would have made such good viewing?
Let’s face it; celebrities love to look good and will do all they can do dazzle in front of the paparazzi. While some people choose a more natural look, others go under the knife to enhance their appearance – but do you think cosmetic surgery surgery pays off?
